Report: Many Baby Boomers Addicted To Drugs
The 'Baby Boomer' generation came of age in the 1960's, an era defined by 'sex, drugs and rock and roll'. Those days have long past, but new research suggests the boomers are still facing higher than normal rates of drug use. Peter Delany, from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, discusses the new data and what it tells us about boomers. Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, April 14, 2009 – Celebrating its 10th year, the annual Dick Robinson Golf Classic took place on April 6 at the prestigious Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Weather reports called for a rainy and humid day but it ended up being a windy and beautiful spring day – perfect for a day of golf as more than 75 golfers came together to support a good cause. Dick Robinson served as chairman of the tournament. Dick Hellawell and Heather Lyons served as Co-Chairmen for the golf tournament with Lawrence DeGeorge serving as International Honorary Chairman.
