Dan Hogue joined Hanley Center in 2005 as Professional Education and Staff Development Coordinator. In this capacity his organizational skills and commitment were invaluable as he coordinated conferences, patient lecture series, staff/professional education and training, and worked with outside accrediting agencies. Dan was quickly promoted to the position of Outreach Specialist.

As Outreach Specialist, Dan represents Hanley Center at numerous conferences and addiction treatment industry events, plans

and coordinates Hanley-sponsored conferences as well as many educational programs. Dan also is responsible for the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States and works with professionals, families and individuals to inform them of Hanley Center’s services and to help those in need as well as to help coordinate the admission process.

Before joining the Hanley Center, Dan was employed by the Humane Society of the Palm Beaches, where he developed staff training programs, implemented customer care standards and created organization-wide policies and procedures.

Dan’s experience includes many years in management, training and customer service-related industries. He studied psychology at Edinboro State College in Edinboro, Pa. Dan lives in and works out of Charlotte, N.C..
