What to Expect
We are on your case from day one

Although the admissions process begins with a single telephone call, it culminates in the efforts of many professionals on Hanley Center’s Multidisciplinary Team meeting and the individual needs of each patient. It is the job of Hanley Center’s Admissions and Case Management team to make you as comfortable as possible immediately, and we are passionate about our positions. We believe that the sooner you are able to join in the facility’s regular routine, the sooner you can begin the work of recovery.
Upon your arrival at Hanley Center, you will be greeted by an Admissions team member and your dedicated case manager. Your dedicated case manager will then guide you through the necessary paperwork, which is designed to be kept at a minimum. Your case manager will help you explore, determine and explain funding options available to you.
The next stop is a comprehensive nursing assessment, where our on-staff medical professionals determine your medical and psychological condition. Following detoxification, brand new patients are then shown to their room and encouraged to settle in and become acquainted with the accommodations. You are welcome to join your peers for lunch in Hanley Center’s café once you are settled in.
On day two, you will meet with a physician and a counselor to receive a personalized and detailed course of treatment. Should your condition be such that the detoxification process does not require extraordinary medical attention, you will then begin your treatment by joining the larger patient community. In the days ahead, your case manager will be available to assist you with your responsibilities away from the Center, whether they are job-related or involve the court or legal systems, enabling you to focus on your recovery process. One week prior to being discharged, your case manager will assist you in setting up and understanding your Aftercare Plan.
