Your Initial Screening and Intake Assessment
During the initial call with one of our Information Specialists, important data is gathered to begin the clinical evaluation process.
The first step in determining appropriateness for care is the initial screening and intake assessment. As part of this assessment collateral information is assembled from various possible sources, such as, family members, previous treatment providers, medical histories, mental heath histories etc... This clinical interview helps to measure the severity and complexity of treatment needs. There are, on rare occasions, times when requests for medical or psychological records may be required prior to admission.
Next, each patient is assigned a clinical and financial case manager. These professionals assist the patient and family with all of the pre-admission procedures including the development of a financial payment plan. The financial case manager will explore, determine and explain financial options on a case by case basis. This process is completely personalized and confidential.
