Become an Alumni Contact

The Alumni Contact program is based on the “We” of the 12-Steps: We do recovery together, not alone, one alcoholic/addict helping another by sharing experiences, strength, and hope.
Alumni contacts are former patients of Hanley Center who have been sober for six months or longer and are active in the AA and/or NA communities, i.e., they attend meetings and have a home group and sponsor, they are volunteering their service at group meetings, and they are working the 12 Steps.
Alumni contacts are assigned to residential patients three weeks into their treatment. The Alumni coordinators facilitate the phone call to the potential alumni contact. We suggest that patients call their alumni contact periodically while they are in treatment at Hanley.
The hope is that when patients are discharged and return home, they will meet in person with their alumni contact at an AA or NA meeting. The alumni contact may even become a sponsor for the new alumnus.
If you would like to become an Alumni Contact, complete the form below and a Hanley Center representative will call you for further details.
