Addiction Professional Training
Influential education to keep you above the influence

The vision of the APT program is to provide a quality educational experience for current and future substance abuse treatment professionals. Weekend courses are offered to individuals seeking credentials from the Florida Certification Board as well as those needing hours to fulfill annual training requirements (CEU's).
The program is broken down into Level I and Level II classes. Level I courses provide 350 hours of practice dimensions and transdisciplinary foundation topics required for non-licensed participants. Level II courses meet the 145 hours of specific education in the two transdisciplinary foundation topics for licensed or licensed-eligible students.
Classes meet Fridays from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Hanley Resource Center, which is located at 933 45th Street, West Palm Beach, Florida. Fees are $120 per weekend for 15 hours of instruction. There are no fees for registration. Full time students, with proper identification are eligible for a 25% discount. Five or more students from a single billing entity are also eligible for a discount.
Among the faculty are nationally renowned experts in the field of addiction treatment, including Terence Gorski, William L. White, Aldo Morales, M.D., Dr. Carmine Pecoraro, Dr. Mark Ruiz, Dr. Kathryn Shafer, Dr. Paula Fenzau, and Caraili McLean.
Certificates are furnished to students upon completion of class.
Students requiring overnight accommodations are referred to the Marriott Courtyard, located at 600 Northpoint Parkway, West Palm Beach. Hanley Center's corporate rate has been extended to make their stay safe and affordable.
