Documentation and Supervision (30 CEU’s) (Practice Dimensions)

Course Description
This course introduces participants to clinical documentation, psychosocial summaries, progress notes, reports, record keeping, and records management. Additionally, clinical supervision theories, performance reviews, observation skills, communication skills, and professional development will be explored.
Course Outcomes
At the completion of this course, you should be able to:
1. Explain ethical, legal, and effective record keeping
2. Explain the process of clinical documentation
3. Write a psychosocial summary
4. Explain clinical supervision theories
5. Describe effective performance reviews and observational skills

Course Format
Participants will be involved in lectures, small group discussions, and small group activities.
