Be the Wall: Be Clear, Be Firm, Be Consistent

"Be The Wall" is a statewide social marketing campaign in Florida that encourages parents to be clear with their children that they will not condone underage alcohol and drug use, and also be firm and consistent in their discipline.
The message also targets those who sell alcohol in stores and establishments by reinforcing their legal and personal responsibility to refuse sales of alcohol to minors.
The campaign is sponsored by the Florida Governor's Office of Drug Control, Florida Department of Children and Families, and the Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant.
Did you know?
The teen brain is still developing into the mid-20s. Until then, teens are more likely to:
- Make impulsive decisions
- Take risks
- Be illogical
- Test boundaries
- Be rebellious
So when you talk to them about alcohol, be clear, be firm, be consistent. Be the Wall – because they need you now more than ever.
