Prevention Resources from Hanley Center: An Overview
Outreach and prevention programs are an essential part of Hanley Center's Mission. Communication is the most powerful tool for prevention, and parents and children need to be able to speak to each other about drugs and alcohol.
If a child is drinking or using drugs, it is critical for parents and educators to recognize the signs in order to help the child. That’s why we offer these educational resources for parents, teachers and children:
Resources for Parents:
- Warning signs: How can you tell if a child is using alcohol or drugs?
- How to speak to your kids about drugs and alcohol
- Helpful tips regarding drug and alcohol use in adolescents
Resources for Teachers:
