Prevention Programs in Your School
At Hanley Center, we understand the importance of educating children and teenagers about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. That’s why we offer an array of research-based prevention programs that can be implemented in elementary, middle and high schools.
Prevention Programs for Elementary Schools
- Passport to Peace: This program helps kids learn to develop positive social attitudes and stop violent behavior.
Prevention Programs for Middle Schools
- Project Northland: The program implements grade-specific tasks, exercises, and activities in a variety of highly engaging, interactive formats to reach young people at an age when they are most likely to try alcohol.
Prevention Programs for High Schools
- Class Action: This program teaches students age-appropriate skills to resist using alcohol and appreciate alcohol-free alternatives.
- ATLAS and ATHENA: These gender-specific programs educate boys and girls involved in sports about healthy sports nutrition and alternatives to performance-enhancing and body-shaping drugs such as steroids and diet pills, respectively.
